I recently studied for (and passed!) the Microsoft MB-910 exam. This post with discuss how I studied and what I learned.
Over the last year, I have been completing certifications on Microsoft Azure technologies. I have completed the AZ-900, DP-900 and AI-900 exams. Now I decided to sit the MB-910.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM), to give it's full name, certification covers the customer engagement features and capabilities in Dynamics 365.
The main areas are for the CRM product are:
- Customer Service
- Field Service
- Marketing
- Sales
Aswell as getting me ready for the exam, learning more about these really did give me more knowledge on the Dynamics products and how it can be used on projects to support customer engagement, insights and support requirements.
To study, I worked through the recommended study materials. These modules cover each of these within Microsoft Learn:
Examine the core capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 customer engagement apps
Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing
Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales
Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service
Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service
I then done as many practice tests as possible. In my experience of doing several Microsoft exams, the practice tests are very realistic to what will be in exam. Sometimes it's literally the same question! So, I'd recommend doing the practice tests to get a guide on the type of questions.
Next, I will be studying for the next exam which is the Dynamics ERP fundamentals (MB-920) which covers the ERP products in Dynamics.
Good luck on your exam!
