A week off work...kept busy with appointments, virtual conference, family visits and Euro 2020.
What's been happening?
Usually at this time of year I am on Odense, Denmark for Umbraco Codegarden conference. This year I attended from my spareroom/ office in Glasgow! I enjoyed the opportunity to learn from and chat to the community. I was also very proud to again be renewed as Umbraco MVP!
While watching the conference pre-party, I also built some Lego flowers. Ideal when, like us, you have a cat who likes to eat any real flowers you bring in to the house!

After a few days of sitting at my computer, I enjoyed a weekend of seeing family & being outside a bit more (while we have sunshine in scotland!)

On Thursday/ Friday I tuned in to a lot of the videos from Codegarden aswell as being the host of one of the "unconference" Q&A sessions. I will be catching up on those sessions I missed when they are available on YouTube.
I also spent some of my time this week getting to know more about .Net 6 & C#10 (due for release in November 2021), including minimal APIs.
Watching πΊ
Time off work for me means lots of TV!
- I watched the whole season of Starstruck in 1 day!
- Season 2 of Intelligence.
- We have also started watching Mare of Easttown.
- Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In
- Mark Walters in the Footsteps of Andrew Watson
- Alot of football (this will be my answer for a few weeks now for the Euros!)
Goals for next week:
- Watch as much of the Euros as I can (it's been a long wait!)
- Home workouts during one of the games every day.
- Read a bit before bed since you are watching so much TV!
