Speaking at MS Build, meetups, work and a staycation citybreak.

What's been happening?

Another busy week!

MS Build was this week, with lots of great sessions. I was lucky to present in the UK community session on "Create friction-free code across all tools and frameworks". I feel very lucky to have had this opportunity, huge thanks to the Microsoft UK team for the encouragement and support in preparing for the session! My summary of Build with the sessions and news from dev perspective is here.

On Wednesday evening we had our 4th and final Umbraco v9 learn-a-thon. It was a super collaborative session discussing topics related to v9 beta. It's been great to learn more about .Net core & Umbraco v9 each week.

On Thursday I joined .Net Liverpool meetup and presented "Getting Started with Blazor"

This week and May in general has been a busy month! Finally, I was ready for a long weekend. A city break in my own city isn't exactly the travelling we'd ideally be doing, but it was nice to get out of the house and away from my desk for a while!
