Another week done already! A pretty chilled one for me: family, baking, jigsaws and books.
What's been happening?
It seems like time is going so fast, writing this blog is making me realise how quickly the weeks are passing by. Before I know it, it's time to write another!
This week marked a year of working from home. Not sure what I'd have thought if you told me back then it would be for more than just a few weeks... but here we are! I am still working on ensure I get away from screens and do some non techy things, this week has been a good one for that.
Garden visits to family are now allowed here in Scotland, so that's been a lovely change. Just in time for mother's day and birthday visits, which has meant I have had a chance to bake a few times this week π
With the weather being better, I have enjoyed getting out for a run after work now the nights are a wee bit brighter, it really does make a difference to my mood.
A wee 4 day week for me, so on my day off I decided to put on a podcast playlist and get away with screens with a jigsaw!

Reading π
I finally finished The Guest List. I am on to The Future of Feeling now, discussing building empathy inΒ world that is focussed on tech.
Listening π§
I really enjoyed the episode of "single-threaded" on TypeScript. I really like the podcasts where it just feels like you are in a conversation with people, the host and guest were really knowledgeable (and honest!) about the reality of learning TypeScript.Β
Twenty Twenty is a fun podcast discussing pop culture in 2000. Destiny's Child, The Sims and Big Brother have been my favourite episodes so far.
Learning π©βπ»
Getting Started with Microsoft Graph Toolkit.
Watching πΊ
A new series of Drive to Survive started! Yes, I watched the F1 season as it happened, but still fun to watch the recap, with the behind the scenes look.
Goals for next week:
- 3x run
- Azure learning
